How to use Wishly

From first word to shared link in a few minutes. Works in any browser, and installs on your phone like an app.

1 Create a letter

Tap “Create” and choose the occasion (love, birthday, Eid, anything).
Pick a template. Each one is a small animated story.
Write the recipient’s name and your letter. Use bold, colours, emoji and alignment.
Add photos (drag to reorder) and, if you like, record a voice message.
Choose the frame style, handwriting font and how the words appear.
Preview it exactly as they will see it, then generate the link.

2 Share it

Copy the link or tap WhatsApp, Messenger or Telegram. You can also show the QR code.
Add a password if only one person should open it.
Use “Timed reveal” to keep it locked until a date and time, like midnight on a birthday.
Links last a lifetime by default. Pick a shorter validity if you prefer, and you can disable a link any time.

3 Use it like a mobile app

Wishly is a web app you can add to your home screen. It opens full-screen, without the browser bar, and starts fast.

Android (Chrome)

Open Wishly in Chrome.
Tap the “Install app” button, or the ⋮ menu, then “Install app” / “Add to Home screen”.
Open Wishly from your home screen like any other app.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Open Wishly in Safari.
Tap the Share button (square with an arrow), then “Add to Home Screen”.
Tap “Add”. The Wishly icon appears on your home screen.

Letters you send are opened by your recipient in their normal browser, so they do not need to install anything.

4 See views and replies

Signed in: open “My letters” to see views, reactions and replies for every letter.
Guest: use your private manage link. Save it, since it is your key.
Add your email and we will tell you when it is opened or answered.
Create an account later and your guest letters move into it automatically.

5 Edit, copy and reuse

Edit any saved letter. Your changes autosave.
Choose “New link” to send an updated version. The old link keeps the old version.
Or choose “Update existing link” to change what people who already have it will see.
Duplicate a letter to send a variation to someone else.
Expired links stay in your dashboard. Extend them or make a new one.
