No. You can create and share a letter as a guest. You will get a private manage link where you can see views, reactions and replies. An account just keeps everything together in a dashboard.
By default a link never expires, so your wish can be opened years later. You can also choose 7, 30, 90 days or 1 year when you generate it, and disable a link at any time.
No. Each link keeps the exact version you shared. You can choose to create a new link, or explicitly update an existing one.
Replies and reactions appear on your private manage page. Add your email and we will also notify you. Keep your manage link safe: it is your key.
Yes. Set a password when you generate the link, or schedule the letter to unlock at an exact date and time.

Only people with the link (and the password, if you set one). Link previews in chat apps never show your text.
